deleting characters from a document
To delete characters from a document follow these instructions : By pressing either the Backspace or Delete key character will be deleted. The Delete key removes the character to the right of the cursor and remains the cursor at the same position. The Backspace removes the character to the left of the cursor and moves the cursor one position to the left. You can also select some text with mouse or keyboard and then delete the text. Selecting text is explained in a next chapter.
