using mail marge facility


To use mail marge facility follow these instructions :

First create the following document :

I.E Mr.
     Sir,
          I am very glad to inform you that our final year students are willing to visit your bank in the next week. At the time of visit the students will observe the method of maintaining bank accounts. I request you to inform us the time and date when our students will visit your bank.
          Your cooperation will be most helpful to make our programs a success.
     Principal

Save the file.

Now create a form letters :

Click on MAIL MARGE from the Tools menu.

Click CREATE, click FORM LETTERS and then click ACTIVE WINDOWS.

Click on GET DATA, click CREATE DATA SOURCE.

Click on REMOVE FIELD NAME button until all fields are removed.

Create field: NAME; JOBTIHF; DEPARTMENT; ADDRESS.

Click on OK.

Or,

Click on Start Mail Marge at the left of the START MAIL MARGE option from the Mailings tab.

Click on LETTERS.

Click on Select Recipients at the mid of the START MAIL MARGE option from the Mailings tab.

Click on TYPE NEW LIST.

Fulfill the requirements.

Click on OK.

Type the file name Main.

Click on SAVE.

Click on Select Recipients at the mid of the START MAIL MARGE option from the Mailings tab.

Click on USE EXISTING LIST.

Select the file Main.

Click on OPEN.
