merge and center
To merge a range follow these instructions :
Select the range you want to marge.
From the Format menu click on 'Merge and Center'.
Or click on the Merge and Center icon at the right-bottom side of the Alignment option from the Home tab.
The selected cells will be merged and the alignment will be centered. Now you can change the alignment.
